Life Cycle Events
Temple Beth-El warmly welcomes both members and non-members to celebrate Life Cycle Events with us. With support of our clergy, we can name children and welcome them into the Covenant, prepare a Bar/Bat Mitzvah, solemnize a marriage, commemorate the passing of a loved one, or commemorate another important event in the flow of life.
Each Life Cycle event is unique for the family and community. As part of the flow of life, each Life Cycle event must be specially planned in consultation with clergy, so that it “fits” the occasion and is fully “real” for the family. While this approach takes extra time and energy, it helps ensure that the Life Cycle event will be meaningful, memorable and truly transformative.
Our beautiful sanctuary is available for use with our clergy, our lay leaders and with visiting clergy. We can make it work for you, and we have partners on the island to coordinate food for your simchas. Please write to us at yourshulbythesea@gmail.com to discuss further.
We look forward to welcoming you and your family to our Shul By the Sea.
