Religious School

In fall 2014, we inaugurated an exciting educational partnership with Sinai Free Synagogue of Mount Vernon. This innovative arrangement warmly welcomes children of TBE’s family members to monthly children’s and family services, and to their twice-weekly religious school.

TBE members in good standing who participate in this exciting opportunity receive substantial advantages. As TBE members, they receive the full benefits of the TBE community – including our innovative bnai mitzvah preparatory program – at among the lowest dues in the Jewish world. At the same time, TBE members are treated as members of Sinai Free Synagogue for purposes of eligibility for their religious education program, whose values of inclusivism and heart-centered education complement our own.

We are grateful to Sinai Free Synagogue for extending this generous opportunity to our community. For more information, please call Rabbi Shohama at 914.636.2504.

TEACHINGS, SERMONS AND LIFELONG LEARNING

We commit to making teachings and sermons available to the public as a community service, reflecting our heart-centered focus. We also have a rabbinic blog of weekly teachings, and links for lifelong learning across the breadth of Judaism.
