Community-led Shabbat with Cap’n Bob

Summer's winding down.... Join us on Friday, August 25, when former Temple President Bob Berent leads the Sabbath service. Relax and enjoy this warm, intimate introduction to the Sabbath with us as we welcome the last Shabbat of August  (and the first Shabbat of Elul) with spirit and song. "Captain Bob" will keep us on key with his accordion. We'll talk about Parashat Shoftim. Celebratory oneg to follow.

Join your TBE family as we welcome back from Jerusalem Rebbetzin Emuna Witt-Halevi, a maggid (spiritual story teller) in the tradition of Rabbi Shlomo Carlebach, to open hearts and souls to the holy month of Elul and the High Holy Day season of teshuvah. In Rebbetzin Emuna's words, come and help bring down the Torah you most need for this season of renewal. Suggested contribution: $10.

Yom Kippur: Day of Holiness
