Wisdom for All Seasons: The Book of Ecclesiastes with Rabbi Shohama Wiener
Superbly appropriate for this time of Covid, Ecclesiastes is one of the Biblical books of Wisdom that grapples with the meaning of life and how to find happiness amidst great changes and challenges. Rabbi Rami Shapiro has written a fresh translation and interpretation which melds Eastern Wisdom with his approach to Jewish thought. In this short course we will read and discuss major portions of Rabbi Rami’s book The Tao of Solomon (please purchase) as well as selections from contemporary writers (to be emailed) representing contrary opinions. Come with an open mind and heart and together we will explore wisdom we each need for this time!
