Life Tribute to Connie Cantor

Rabbi Shohama will lead the community in honoring the life and memory of Connie Cantor, who died this time last year.

Connie was a daughter of Annette and David Davis, founding members of TBE some 85 years ago. As an adult, Connie lived on City Island and married Herman “Hy” Cantor, who became longtime TBE president. Connie taught Hebrew at TBE for many years.

Connie was survived by children Susan Cantor-Diaz (Sam) and Michael Cantor (Valerie); and grandchildren Rachel, David and Leah Cantor, and Josh Diaz.  

At the family’s request, donations in Connie’s memory may be made to TBE for “The Connie & Hy Cantor Memorial Fund.” May Connie’s memory be for an eternal blessing.
