Please join Rabbi David and your Shul by the Sea community for a wild Purim ride. Costumes are strongly encouraged! There will be silly activities. Some of us will drink too much wine.
Purim is our invitation to surface parts of ourselves that need time in the light: Wear them proudly! Purim focuses us on masks we wear over our true faces, using humor and satire as power over fear and inertia, so we can go free on Passover exactly one full moon later.
So prepare your costumes and get ready to laugh for a spiritual purpose: the next full moon is Purim, and here comes the sun.
