Join Rabbi David and the TBE Book Club for babka (cake), beverages and a discussion of Rodger Kamenetz’s inspired book, The Jew in the Lotus. This book documents the historic dialogue between rabbis (including our zeide, Reb Zalman) and the Dalai Lama to discuss spirituality, history, religious practice, exile and return. This is the book that brought Rabbi David to Jewish Renewal, and the subject of ALEPH’s “Getting it Together” weekend in Philadelphia over July 4 commemorating the 25th anniversary of this world-changing dialogue. Be part of the continuing story.
