TIsha b’Av – Descent for the Sake of Ascent

We descend into the darkness to rise higher into the light

Join Rabbi David for a soul-riveting daytime commemoration of Tisha b'Av, the lowest day in the Jewish year. On Tisha b'Av, we descend into brokenness, confront fear, re-discover resilience and re-boot our spiritual journey. It is said that moshiachzeit (the seeds of the New Age) sprouts on Tisha b'Av day: we descend for the sake of ascent.

On Tisha b'Av it is traditional to wear black, refrain from wearing leather, and to abstain from food, bathing and other physicial comforts. Please enter in silence: we will begin promptly at 11:00 a.m.
